Culinary Herb, Winter Savory (‘montana’), 10cm Pot


A hardy woody perennial with small white or pale pink flowers.  Very aromatic and attractive.

Leaves have a peppery spicy flavour.  Use sparingly in bean dishes, and with poultry, eggs and fish.  An important herb in sausages and salami.

Growing tips – prefers a sunny position in rich, chalky, well-drained soil.  Ideal for tubs and pots.
