Malus ‘Director Moerland’ is an attractive ornamental crabapple tree known for its rich foliage color and striking seasonal display. In spring, it produces clusters of deep pink to red flower buds that open into vibrant reddish-pink blossoms, creating a bold contrast against its emerging purple-bronze leaves. As the season progresses, the foliage matures to a dark green with hints of purple, maintaining visual interest throughout the summer. Its balanced, upright form makes it a popular choice for gardens, avenues, and landscape planting.
