40 x 80-100cm Cherry Laurel (c5 pot)

Description

PRICE PER PLANT £10.62

Cherry Laurel is one of the most versatile and reliable evergreen shrubs for UK gardens, and this mature specimen at 80-100cm is ready to make an immediate impact. With its glossy, deep green leaves and elegant upright habit, it provides year-round structure and interest to borders, screens, and hedging schemes. The fragrant white flower spikes appear in spring, followed by small black berries in autumn that attract wildlife. Being a substantial size on arrival, these C5 pot specimens will establish quickly and require minimal fussing while they settle in.

This hardy shrub thrives in most soil types, from clay through to sandy soil, making it forgiving for gardeners with challenging growing conditions. It copes well in both full sun and partial shade, though it will flower and fruit most prolifically in sunnier positions. Once established, Cherry Laurel is remarkably drought-tolerant and low-maintenance, asking only for occasional watering during the first growing season and a light prune after flowering if you wish to maintain a neater shape. It’s ideal for creating dense, informal hedging or as a standalone specimen where its natural rounded form can shine.

What makes this offering particularly attractive is the 40-unit quantity available, making it perfect for larger projects such as boundary hedging, commercial landscaping schemes, or planting groups to create screening and shelter. Bulk purchasing at garden centre prices represents excellent value compared to buying plants individually. These semi-mature plants will establish faster than smaller specimens, so you’ll see the benefits of your investment within a single growing season.

Whether you’re a professional landscaper looking for reliable stock or a keen gardener planning a substantial planting project, Cherry Laurel offers hardiness, attractive foliage, and minimal fuss. It’s a true workhorse of the shrub world and deserves a place in any garden where screening, wildlife appeal, and year-round greenery are priorities.
