Description

Bring reliable spring colour to your garden beds and borders with our Daffodil Mixed bulbs, a collection of tried-and-tested varieties in one convenient pack. This mixed selection ensures you’ll enjoy a succession of cheerful blooms from late winter through to mid-spring, with heights and flower forms varying from classic trumpets to charming doubles. With 10 x 2kg bags included, you’ll have plenty to naturalise across your garden, create bold drifts, or fill containers for a burst of seasonal cheer.

Daffodils are among the most reliable and low-maintenance spring bulbs you can plant. They’re fully hardy and thrive in most UK gardens, happily growing in well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. Plant bulbs from September through November at a depth of around 15cm, spacing them roughly 10-15cm apart. They’re deer and rabbit resistant, making them an excellent choice for wildlife-friendly gardens, and they naturalise well in lawns and grassland if you’re after a more informal display.

These bulbs require minimal care once established. Water them in after planting if conditions are dry, and they’ll generally look after themselves through the growing season. Once flowering has finished, allow the foliage to die back naturally—typically by late May—as this replenishes the bulb for next year’s display. You don’t need to feed them, though a light application of balanced fertiliser after flowering can encourage stronger blooms the following spring. Remove spent flowerheads to tidy the garden, but leave the stems and leaves in place.

The mixed selection is perfect if you love the natural, informal look of traditional spring gardens. You’ll get lovely variety without the effort of sourcing individual cultivars, and the extended flowering period means continuous colour when you need it most. Whether you’re planting them in dedicated beds, scattering them through borders, or filling outdoor pots and window boxes, these daffodils will establish reliably and return year after year with minimal fuss. A true spring garden essential.
