Amaryllis White Bulb Kit

Description

Bring the drama of tropical elegance into your home with this stunning Amaryllis White Bulb Kit. Amaryllis are known for their showstopping trumpet-shaped blooms, and this pure white variety is a particularly elegant choice that creates a sophisticated focal point in any room. Each kit comes complete with everything you need to get started: a premium quality bulb, a suitable growing pot, nutrient-rich compost, and detailed planting instructions to ensure even first-time growers achieve brilliant results.

These magnificent flowers have a real wow factor that makes them perfect for brightening up indoor spaces during the darker months, though with this kit you can enjoy blooms throughout the year by staggering your plantings. A mature bulb typically produces one or two flowering stems, each bearing up to six impressive blooms that can last several weeks in flower. The pure white petals have a subtle elegance that complements any interior style, from contemporary to traditional.

Growing amaryllis indoors is wonderfully straightforward. Simply plant the bulb in the provided compost with roughly the top third of the bulb exposed above the soil surface. Place in a warm location with bright, indirect light and water moderately until growth appears, then increase watering as the plant grows. Once the flowering stem has emerged, you can move your amaryllis to a slightly cooler spot to extend the flowering period. Most bulbs will bloom within six to eight weeks of planting.

After flowering, continue caring for the foliage by keeping the plant in good light and feeding fortnightly with a balanced fertiliser until the leaves naturally die back. Store the pot in a cool, dry place for six to eight weeks, then you can restart the whole process for another stunning display. With proper care, quality amaryllis bulbs like this one can be reflowered year after year, making this kit an investment that keeps giving.
