Heuchera cherry cola C3

Description

Heuchera ‘Cherry Cola’ is a stunning year-round foliage plant that brings colour and structure to any garden scheme. This compact, mound-forming perennial is prized for its distinctive silver-purple leaves, which create a sophisticated backdrop in borders, containers, or as edging. The foliage remains attractive throughout the seasons, providing reliable visual interest when many other plants have faded. From April through to September, delicate warm pink flowers emerge on short stems, held just above the leafy mound, adding an extra layer of charm without overwhelming the plant’s architectural form.

Growing to approximately 25 centimetres in height, Heuchera ‘Cherry Cola’ is exceptionally versatile and suits both sunny positions and part shade locations. This adaptability makes it ideal for tricky spots where other perennials struggle, though it will develop the richest foliage colour in brighter conditions. The plant is supplied in a C3 pot, ready to establish quickly in your garden.

Care for this heuchera is straightforward and rewarding. Plant it in well-draining soil and water regularly during its first season to help it establish a strong root system. Once established, it is relatively low-maintenance and drought-tolerant, making it perfect for busy gardeners. Deadheading spent flower stems will encourage continued blooming throughout the flowering season, though many gardeners leave the dried flower heads for added winter interest. In very cold winters, the foliage may become slightly less vibrant, but the plant will recover as temperatures rise.

Heuchera ‘Cherry Cola’ is an excellent choice for adding year-round colour and texture to your garden. Whether you’re creating a contemporary planting scheme, filling a gap in a mixed border, or softening the edges of a patio container display, this reliable perennial delivers both visual appeal and dependable performance.
