Description
Laburnum × watereri ‘Vossii’, commonly known as the golden chain tree, is a highly ornamental deciduous tree admired for its spectacular hanging flowers. In late spring to early summer, it produces long, cascading clusters of bright yellow blooms that can reach up to 50 cm (20 inches) in length, creating a dramatic “golden waterfall” effect. The foliage consists of light green, trifoliate leaves that provide a soft backdrop to the vibrant flowers, making the tree a striking focal point in gardens and landscapes.
