Cherry Laurel is a superb evergreen shrub that brings year-round structure and colour to any garden. These robust plants arrive as rootballs at an excellent semi-mature size of 150-175cm, making them ideal for creating instant impact in borders, screens, or as individual specimen plants. The glossy, deep green foliage is exceptionally handsome and remains vibrant throughout all seasons, with the bonus of fragrant creamy-white flower spikes appearing in spring. This is a real workhorse plant that delivers reliable performance and minimal fuss.

Cherry Laurel is exceptionally easy to grow and remarkably adaptable. It thrives in most soil types and will happily tolerate sun or partial shade, though it performs best in well-draining soil and a sheltered spot. These plants are tolerant of coastal conditions and even urban pollution, making them perfect for challenging garden situations. They establish quickly once planted and require minimal maintenance beyond the occasional trim to keep them in shape.

The rootball specimens provided here are well-developed and ready to establish rapidly in your garden. Upon arrival, simply heel them in or plant immediately into well-prepared soil enriched with organic matter. Water thoroughly after planting and maintain consistent moisture during the first growing season whilst the root system develops. A thick mulch around the base helps retain moisture and suppress weeds during establishment.

Whether you’re looking to create a dense, attractive hedge, a tall screen for privacy, or dramatic focal points in a border, Cherry Laurel delivers exceptional value. At this size, you’ll see an immediate difference in your garden whilst benefiting from mature plants that are far less demanding than younger specimens. The 20-plant pack is perfect for larger projects, substantial hedging schemes, or creating a substantial framework in landscape designs.
